LANCASTER -- Police say an apparent door-to-door scam that recently targeted an elderly Lancaster man mimics what a group of more than 30 people did about 10 years ago. That organized crime ring -- known as the Circleville 30 -- consisted of home-repair scam artists who would solicit elderly residents in several counties.
